Not to be confused with the 2014 film of the same name, The Quiet Ones will be released on VOD on August 5 via The Horror Collective.
Written and directed by Nicholas Winter, the UK horror thriller is described as “blending the psychological tension of Black Swan and Ingrid Goes West with the toxic allure of influencer culture.”
Following the sudden death of her estranged father, Charlotte inherits not only his lavish home—but also his crushing debts. Desperate to avoid losing everything, she turns to her new friend Danni, who proposes an unconventional solution: monetize the mansion by hosting a wild online content house.
With a cast of hot, young influencer hopefuls behind a paywall, the cash starts flowing—but so does something far more sinister. As the experiment spirals out of control, Charlotte is plunged into a deadly war of escalating egotism and dangerously self-destructive personalities.

The mysterious serial killer is at the center of an otherworldly investigation in the faux-true crime documentary from Grave Encounters writer-director Stuart Ortiz.
Strange Harvest opens in theaters next week on August 8 via Saban Films and Roadside Attractions.
A routine welfare check in the San Bernardino suburbs leads to a gruesome discovery: a family of three has been bound, bled, and posed below a strange symbol written in blood on the ceiling. Detectives Joe Kirby and Lexi Taylor recognize the symbol as the calling card of a killer from 15 years earlier calling himself Mr. Shiny, who has seemingly returned to continue his murder spree.
It’s not long before Mr. Shiny begins leaving horrifying new crime scenes in his wake. It soon becomes evident the case is anything but routine and that the murders, and their perpetrator, may be part of some sinister agenda involving cosmic phenomena and evil forces from beyond.

In the wake of two mainline movies, a spinoff film, and a video game, the world of A Quiet Place is set to be expanded even further with A Quiet Place Part III, and we’ve learned today that John Krasinski is back to write, direct and produce the upcoming third installment.
A Quiet Place Part III will release in theaters on July 9, 2027!
Last we heard, the third installment in the mainline Quiet Place series would likely continue the Abbott family storyline, with Emily Blunt expected to return for A Quiet Place Part III. But that has not been confirmed at this time. Stay tuned for more as we learn it.
The most recent installment in the franchise was last year’s spinoff movie A Quiet Place: Day One, a prequel to the alien invasion saga set in New York City and starring Lupita Nyong’o.
With just three installments, the Quiet Place franchise has made $900 million at the worldwide box office, likely to become a billion dollar franchise with the upcoming fourth installment.
The franchise centers on an apocalyptic invasion of creatures that hunt by sound, with Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbott surviving both of the first two movies and living to fight another day.
