While we wait for the new official trailer, the marketing for Final Destination Bloodlines rolls on this afternoon with a new poster that officially reveals the film’s MPA rating.

Final Destination Bloodlines is rated “R” for “Strong violent/grisly accidents, and language.” We wouldn’t have it any other way. Check out the new poster art down below.

The newest chapter in New Line Cinema’s bloody successful franchise takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice in theaters on May 16, 2025.

This will be the franchise’s first movie in fourteen years!

Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.

Final Destination Bloodlines stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, and Anna Lore, with Brec Bassinger.

Tony Todd played the enigmatic mortician William Bludworth in Final Destination, Final Destination 2, and Final Destination 5, and he’ll be back in this year’s brand new sequel.

The film is directed by Adam Stein & Zach Lipovsky.

David Charbonier and Justin Powell (The Boy Behind the Door, The Djinn) are back with upcoming horror movie Push, and the film has found a home at Shudder this week.

The highly anticipated horror movie, which made its world premiere at the 2024 Sitges Film Festival and will make its U.S. premiere at Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, California this weekend, will make its exclusive streaming debut on Shudder later this year.

Alicia Sanz (El Cid) and Raúl Castillo (Smile 2) lead the cast.

The film follows Natalie Flores (Sanz), a pregnant realtor who is attacked by a sadistic killer (Castillo) at her open house, sending her into premature labor. Up against a physiological ticking clock, Natalie must find a way to escape before she gives birth.

“With Push, David and Justin continue to hone their spectacular skill for intimate, visceral suspense,” said Sam Zimmerman, Head of Programming for Shudder. “After The Boy Behind the Door, we are thrilled to reteam with the dynamic duo on this frightening and surprising new spin on the home invasion genre.”

Written and directed by Charbonier and Powell, Push is produced by Ryan Scaringe and executive produced by Amy Lippens, Jilbert Daniel, Del Charbonier, Sanz and Castillo.

Meagan Navarro wrote in her festival review for BD, “Charbonier and Powell operate on a level that strips away all pretenses and excess, leaving nothing behind but a lean, mean home invasion thriller that plays like a breathless chase in a briskly paced 90-minute runtime.”

Michelle Randolph (“1923”) and Jimmy Tatro (“American Vandal”) are the latest to join the cast of Scream 7.

Currently in production in Atlanta, the slasher sequel is scheduled to be released on February 27, 2026 by Paramount Pictures.

Neve Campbell will reprise her role as final girl Sidney Prescott, alongside Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown.

David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, and Scott Foley are also returning, although it’s unclear how exactly the dispatched characters will be used.

Isabel May (“1883”) joins the franchise as Sidney’s daughter with Joel McHale (“Community”) playing Sidney’s husband.

Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Celeste O’Connor (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Sam Rechner (The Fabelmans), Asa Germann (“Gen V”), Anna Camp (“True Blood”), Ethan Embry (Empire Records), and Mark Consuelos (“Riverdale”) round out the cast.

Kevin Williamson, writer of the original Scream as well as Scream 2 and Scream 4, is directing from a script by Guy Busick, who co-write Scream (2022) and Scream VI.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the latest installment in the slasher saga is expected to focus on Sidney and her family in the fictitious town of Pine Grove, Indiana.

Kenan Thompson, the longest-tenured “Saturday Night Live” cast member in the show’s history, is bringing his comedic chops to the horror genre with Halloween Store.

Deadline reports that Simon Rex (Scary Movie 3, Red Rocket) and Natalie Alyn Lind (“The Goldbergs,” Pet Sematary: Bloodlines) will star for director Shane Dax Taylor (Murder Company).

The campy horror-comedy follows a group of people who find themselves trapped inside a costume store on Halloween night with a mysterious killer on the loose.

Thompson is executive producing alongside John Ryan Jr. through their Artists for Artists banner. Steven Schneider (Insidious, Paranormal Activity) is also among the executive producers.

Artists for Artists, Big Bad Pig Productions, and Racer Entertainment are producing, with Range Media is handling sales.

Up next from The Clovehitch Killer director Duncan Skiles is a crime thriller titled Neighborhood Watch, and Variety reports that RLJE Films has picked it up for distribution.

RLJE will release the film in theaters and on demand on April 25, 2025.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“The Walking Dead”), Jack Quaid (Novocaine) and Malin Akerman (The Final Girls) star in Neighborhood Watch, formerly titled Nowhere Men.

Neighborhood Watch follows “Simon (Jack Quaid), a young man grappling with mental illness, who becomes convinced that he has witnessed an abduction.

“When he reports it to the police and they refuse to believe him, he reluctantly seeks the help of his neighbor Ed (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a retired security guard with a troubled past.

“As the two try to unravel the mystery, they are forced to confront the dark secrets surrounding the disappearance, as well as grapple with their own issues.”

“I fell in love with Neighborhood Watch because of Ed and Simon’s unique relationship, which Jeff and Jack brought to life with remarkable grace and skill,” said Skiles. “Our entire crew became fans of this improbable pair, creating an energy that touched every scene.”

RLJE’s Mark Ward adds, “Neighborhood Watch sees Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid build on each other’s talents to unravel a suspenseful and surprising mystery, and Duncan Skiles has crafted a smart character-driven thriller that keeps you guessing. We can’t wait for viewers to unravel this unpredictable journey.”
